Michele Cupples is a Southern Artist, whose style expressed in painting and photography evoke subtle emotional undertows, unique to her journey.

Coming from a family of artists and growing up surrounded by the rich cultural history of New Orleans, she was destined to be in the Arts.

Michele’s formal education began with the unique opportunity to study under Frank Gross and Jean Pichottas’ Visual Arts program at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) in New Orleans, Louisiana. She went on to study at the Atlanta College of Art {now SCAD} in Atlanta Georgia for several years. These two institutions set her foundation as an artist and offered her the freedom to explore her talent, along with some of the most influential artists of her generation.

After spending nearly 2 decades in New York, she made her way to the coastal region of Savannah, Georgia where she enjoys a quiet life renewing her passion for painting and photography.
